The Croatian capital Zagreb is a new destination for low-tariff airline EasyJet flying from Paris, the French newspaper Le Figaro wrote on Wednesday proposing to readers to spend a weekend in Zagreb and visit the Museum of Arts and Crafts where an Art Deco exhibition is being staged.
In the Museum of Arts and Crafts a fascinating exhibition has just opened, dedicated to Art Deco in Central Europe between 1925 and 1939, Le Figaro reports, highlighting exhibits by Croatian sculptor Ivan Mestrovic.
The report also commended Zagreb for "the charming beauty" of its Upper Town, galleries including the Museum of Contemporary Arts, gastronomy, and hotels such as the Regent-Esplanade.
