Several days ago Nikola Kalinic told his agent that he will leave Blackburn unless he gets more game time. However, the club beat Kalinic to the punch and told him that they will no longer be requiring his services
According to The Mirror, Blackburn is set to sell their 23-year old Croatian national striker, Nikola Kalinic, who has not featured in manager Steve Keane’s plans. Given that Kale told his agent that he would want more game time if he were to remain at the club, it is now apparent that Rovers are not counting on the young Croat.
Kalinic cost Rovers 6 million pounds two seasons ago when Sam Allardyce was in charge at Blackburn, and on Allardyce’s insistence. However, the Croat was not seen by Steve Keane as a member of the first team and is now likely to move on.
