Serbia's President Tomislav Nikolic told the Belgrade-based "Danas" daily on Friday that he was open to talks with his Croatian counterpart Ivo Josipovic.
Speaking of regional cooperation, Nikolic said that he should soon hold an official meeting with the Croatian president and that he would go whenever and wherever Josipovic invited him.
Nikolic, whose presidential term started on 31 May 2012, said that he was not one of those "who are travelling just like that" and that the purpose of his visits must be some benefits for Serbia.
He said that since he came into office he had met officials of Romania, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Turkey, Montenegro and Slovenia.
"Croatia has remained. I should soon have an official meeting with Mr. Josipovic. As soon as and wherever he invites, I will come," Nikolic said.
