Criminal charges will not be pressed for an accident which happened July 23, when a bus carrying Czech vacationers crashed into a safety fence and overturned on a motorway in central Croatia, as the bus driver (born in 1955) died in the crash, the Gospic County Prosecutor's Office said in a statement on Friday.
The investigation showed that the accident took place after the bus coming from the Zagreb direction switched lanes, turned over and smashed into a concrete fence on the opposite side of the road, and the driver never hit the breaks, the prosecutor's office said.
