Croatia national midfielder Ivan Rakitic, who moved from Bundesliga side Schalke 04 to La Liga’s Sevilla this winter, bagged his first goal for Sevilla. Rakitic scored the game-winner with a screamer from the edge of the area for Sevilla’s narrow 1:0 win over Hercules
The Croat put in an excellent performance and was subbed on 80 minutes. In his short time in Spain, Rakitic has forced his way into the first eleven and taken charge of the midfield, proving that his move from the Gelsenkirchen side will certainly benefit his career.
This was Rakitic’s first ever goal for the Andalusian side.
