Croatian Deputy Parliament Speaker Vladimir Seks told reporters on Thursday that the ruling HDZ party planned to discuss in the course of the day all bills on the agenda of the current parliamentary session, while a proposal to amend the agenda was expected to be put to the vote on Friday.
"The HDZ plans to discuss already today all bills that are on the agenda and to have a proposal to amend the agenda put to the vote on Friday - that's all as far as this week is concerned," Seks said in parliament when asked if it really was important to discuss that many bills now.
He said that if new items were added to the agenda, they would be discussed by parliamentary committees on Tuesday and Wednesday, after which they would be discussed at a plenary session on Wednesday and Thursday.
He said that all proposed and discussed items and a decision to dissolve parliament should be put to the vote on Friday next week.
When asked if there would be a quorum in parliament tomorrow, Seks said, "I've made myself very clear".
