Zagreb's airport coordinating body of trade unions said in a statement on Sunday evening that their first request concerning amendments to the collective agreement for the Zagreb Airport, which also covers employees working in the airport's trade and catering services, was accepted with almost all of their key demands.
The coordinating body said the collective agreement for the Zagreb Airport was signed at 1600 hours Sunday, while the collective agreement for the airport's trade and catering services would be signed on Monday, November 21.
Due to the latest development, the second phase of the strike, scheduled to take place between 0600 and 2400 hours Monday, is postponed for Wednesday, November 23. By that time, the government and the Transport Ministry need to provide guarantee that these amendments would be incorporated in a Concession Agreement.
The coordinating body is comprised of four trade unions active at Zagreb Airport.
