Vanja Udovicic of the Zagreb water polo club Mladost has been named the best water polo player of 2010 by the International Swimming Federation's (FINA) Aquatics World Magazine.
The 28-year-old Serbian national earned his recognition after an excellent season in the European champion Pro Recco, which he left to join Mladost. Last year he won the LEN Award as the best European water polo player, and in 2009 he was named the best player of the World Championships in Rome.
