Slovenian Foreign Minister Samuel Zbogar told a news conference on Monday that the international community would not understand another attempt by Slovenia to block Croatia on its path to the European Union over the two countries' border dispute, as suggested by the Slovenian Opposition parties which advocate withdrawing from the arbitration process.
"Ideas to force Croatia to sign a bilateral border agreement before joining the EU are very serious and dangerous," Zbogar told reporters in Ljubljana.
"Croatia would not accept it and the international community would not understand our move to reject the arbitration agreement which has been written in a way to entirely suit Slovenia," Zbogar said.
