It is still uncertain if Slovenia will withdraw its reservations to the opening the negotiation chapter "Foreign, Security and Defence Policy" at the Croatia-European Union accession conference which EU president Spain is planning for April, Slovenian news agency STA said on Monday quoting Foreign Minister Samuel Zbogar as telling press in Brussels.
Asked if Slovenia would withdraw its reservations by the April 16 conference, the Slovenian minister said it was difficult to say and that it did not depend only on his ministry.
"We are preparing materials and positions, and we will soon be ready to open a discussion on the matter within the task force in Brussels," said Zbogar.
He added that everything depended on the course of the task force discussion and on the final solution, which has to be adopted by the Slovenian government and parliament.
"It's difficult to say at present whether we can finish everything by April 15, but we will be ready to launch the discussion in Brussels," said Zbogar.
