About 400 residents of Varazdin gathered in the main square on Saturday for the second anti-government protest organised via Facebook in this northern Croatian city.
The protesters said they were sick of lies, fraud and crime, and told the government to step down.
Like a week ago, when the protest drew more than 1,000 people, the protesters said today they could hardly wait for elections.
Marching through town, they were shouting "HDZ - thieves", a reference to the ruling HDZ party, and "Jaco, go away", a reference to Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor, and calling on citizens to take to the streets.
After an hour and a half, the protesters dispersed peacefully. Police reported no incidents.
A new protest has been announced for next Saturday.
