US actor Angelina Jolie is a special guest of the Ulysses Theatre on the Brijuni isles in Croatia's northern Adriatic on Friday night at a performance of this theatre's cult performance of "King Lear" with which the Ulysses Theatre began its activity in 2001, its spokeswoman Marina Vujcic announced.
She said Jolie was a friend of Croatian actor Rade Serbedzija, one of the founders of the Ulysses Theatre, and that she was to have attended last summer's performance of "King Lear" but cancelled due to the high media attention. This year her attendance was kept secret until the last minute.
