The anti-government protest that began in Cvjetni Trg square in central Zagreb at 4pm on Sunday ended peacefully in the main square, Trg Bana Jelacica, at 9pm. The next rally was called for Tuesday at 6pm.

During their march, the protesters stopped outside the apartment of Andrija Hebrang, a senior official of the ruling Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) party, the trade unions' building, the Croatian Radio and Television (HRT) building, the Ministry of the Interior, and the Chamber of Commerce, demanding the resignation of the government and immediate elections.

Demonstrators carried banners saying, among others, "We don't need leaders to decide - Direct democracy!" and "No to privatisation, no to capitalism", and chanted slogans against Croatian Telecom CEO Ivica Mudrinic and the CEO of the Agrokor food concern, Ivica Todoric.

No incidents were reported. Police estimated the number of demonstrators at 2,500, while reporters said that about 7,000 people participated in the protest.
