According to the latest FIFA ranking, the Croatian men's team has reclaimed tenth place and is back amongst the world's top ten teams
Slaven Bilić's side has returned to the FIFA Top 10 after dropping to eleventh place in early March. Croatia overtook Greece on the rank list, topping Otto Rehagel's side by 19 points.
There was no change in the Top 3 - Spain remains the top ranking national side, leading second-placed Brazil and Holland. Portugal, meanwhile, climbed two spots to fourth place, leaving Italy and Germany behind.
England advanced one spot, leapfrogging France for seventh place, while Argentina took ninth and is the last team with a better ranking than Croatia.
The greatest drop in the Top 50 belongs to North Ireland, down 11 places to fiftieth. Bulgaria dropped from thirtieth to thirty-eighth place. As far as Croatia's neighbours are concerned, World Cup qualifier stars Bosnia and Herzegovina improved their ranking by two spots, claiming forty-seventh place on the latest FIFA ranking.
