Croatia's drop of five places on the global competitiveness scale is the result of the work of the previous, incompetent and corrupt government which led the country to a catastrophe and one should not be surprised at that. We are seeing the consequences of this now and it is impossible to expect that someone would turn this into a positive situation in three, four or six months, First Deputy Prime Minister and Economy Minister Radimir Cacic said on Wednesday.
