The overall World Cup leader Marcel Hirscher of Austria clinched his fifth slalom victory of the season in Kitzbuehel on Sunday in a combined time of one minute 44.34 seconds.
Germany's Felix Neureuther was second and Croatia's Ivica Kostelic third. Kostelic won the classic combined, adding up the times of Sunday's slalom and Saturday's downhill.
Hampered early this winter by a lingering knee injury, Kostelic is reaching his peak right on time for the word championships scheduled to take place in Schladming in two weeks.
After today's race, Kostelic ranks fifth in the overall standings and fourth in the slalom standings.
