The Separovic, Spehar and Gavranic law firm on Sunday on behalf of its client, Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor, refuted as notorious untruth yesterday's statement by Social Democratic Party (SDP) leader Zoran Milanonovic who told Nova TV commercial television that Kosor "grabbed an apartment without paying for it", stressing that Milanovic deliberately stated untruths with an aim to insult and slander PM Kosor.
"Jadranka Kosor has already refuted similar claims on several occasions, however given that untrue information are constantly being stated, we would like to once again reiterate that Jadranka Kosor gained the tenancy rights for her apartment, in accordance with the then legislation and she paid for the apartment fully in accordance with the law and at the price and under the conditions that other holders of tenancy rights for state-owned apartments had," according to a statement signed by attorney Ljerka Separovic.
Separovic said that at the SDP's initiative, the State Attorney's Office had carried out an investigation which showed that Kosor paid for her apartment entirely and in accordance with the law.
