Asked to comment on the security level in Zagreb, Mayor Milan Bandic said on Saturday, there were no terrorism threats, adding however, that the situation was serious but not alarming.
He said that commenting on two explosions that took place in Zagreb last week.
He once again called on Zagreb residents to remain calm and trust institutions and asked reporters not to spread panic.
"I responsibly claim: this was not an act of terrorism, this was an act of a madman," Bandic said adding he was not prejudging police findings. "Let the police do their routine job, we trust the police," he stressed.
