The president of the leading opposition party, the Social Democratic Party, Zoran Milanovic, said on Friday that the Brijuni Rivijera agreement to implement the "Brijuni Rivijera" development project at the locations Pineta, Hidrobaza and the island of Sv. Katarina-Monumenti, which Prime Minister Kosor signed today with Istria County Prefect Ivan Jakovcic, the mayors of Pula and Vodnjan Boris Miletic and Klaudije Vidasovic and the director of the company "Brijuni Rivijera", Ratomir Ivicic, would not jeopardise the opposition coalition, regardless of the fact that he and the SDP several days ago objected that the agreement be signed ahead of the parliamentary elections.
Asked if the coalition "marriage" would survive the crisis or if it would dissolve, Milanovic said there was no marriage, but that there was a partnership and that his dialogue with Istria County Prefect Jakovcic "has always been good and friendly."
Asked if disagreements within the coalition indicate future relations if the coalition wins the elections, Milanovic said the opposition coalition was better, expressing conviction it would win the elections.
