Representatives of the government, as representatives of the owner of a 45 per cent stake in the Croatian oil and gas company INA, and of Hungary's MOL have the duty and the obligation to talk and than a line will be drawn and agreement reached on who owes whom how much, Prime Minister Zoran Milanovic said in the coastal town of Sibenik on Monday.
"Sooner or later the representatives of the government, as representatives of the owner of a 45 per cent stake, and of MOL will have to sit down because they have the duty and the obligation to talk, since this is about state property worth billions of kuna. Then a line will be drawn and agreement reached on who owes whom how much," he said in response to questions from the press about the situation in INA.
He said that under the agreement, MOL should have invested a couple of hundred of millions of euros in an overhaul of the refinery in Sisak.
On the other hand, we as the state have certain debts regarding the gas business stemming from the agreement signed by the previous government, Milanovic added.
