A protest rally was on Thursday organised by the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Croatia (SSSH) and the Croatian Association of Trade Unions (HUS) in the centre of Zagreb. The rally started on Thursday outside Labour Home in Zagreb with some 2,000 protesters then heading to St. Mark square where the government headquarters are situated.
The protest was held under the slogan "A defence line for the defence of jobs: job and salary, not the employment bureau!"
The organisers said the action was aimed at expressing disagreement with detrimental policies and incompetent politicians.
