The 86th Zagreb International Autumn Fair will be held between September 22-26, featuring some 500 exhibitors from 30 countries, with China as this year's partner country.
Events will focus on energetics, construction, fashion, consumer goods, music, multimedia, dance, and include for the first time Mystic, a fair of alternative and healthy lifestyles and border areas of science which is expected to draw 120 exhibitors.
China will feature 32 exhibitors and this will be a good opportunity for contacts and cooperation with Croatian companies, said Chinese Ambassador Shen Zhifei.
He added that despite the already good cooperation, Croatia still held a great trade potential for China, notably in the light of the upcoming accession to the European Union.
Apart from China, Austria, Indonesia and Poland will also hold collective exhibitions.
The Zagreb trade fair will also include the Croatian Economic Forum, Textile Days Zagreb 2010, Energy Day, and the Croatian-Chinese Business Forum.
The fair will be opened by an envoy of Croatian President Ivo Josipovic, while he will address the event via video link.
