A total of 835 building permits were issued in Croatia in May, or 10.1% fewer than in May 2010, the Central Bureau of Statistics said on Thursday.
The number of building permits issued in the first five months of 2011 was reduced by 6.6% to 3,980 permits on the year.
The value of works covered by those permits was 8.6 billion kuna, a drop of 13.8% in comparison to the first five months in 2010.
