Croatia's President Ivo Josipovic has sent his best wishes for a New Year to the Croatian citizens, expressing his hope that in 2012 Croatia will become a developed European country.
"In the new year I expect Croatia to become a developed European country, which means that we will be slowly but certainly going out of the crisis," Josipovic said addressing reports in the Zagreb-based Croatian National Theatre before a New Year Eve programme on Saturday evening.
Josipovic wished the Croatians happiness, health, love and prosperity in 2012.
