Hundreds of European dairy farmers, including some 30 from Croatia, are protesting against the low prices for their product, choking traffic into the Belgian capital and around the European Union headquarters with their tractors on Monday.
Farmers from several EU nations today demanded higher prices for milk, which currently is often being sold at below production costs, threatening the survival of their farms.
Protests will continue on Tuesday
