Croatian Prime Minister Zoran Milanovic arrived in Belgrade on Wednesday for a working meeting with his Serbian counterpart Ivica Dacic to discuss bilateral cooperation, regional issues and European integration.

The meeting of the Prime Ministers of Serbia and Croatia, their first since they both stepped into offices last year, is in the focus of the media's attention. Although this is a working meeting, approximately 150 reporters have requested accreditation to cover the event.

Serbian Foreign Minister Ivan Mrkic has said that the Prime Ministers of Serbia and Croatia, Ivica Dacic and Zoran Milanovic, were meeting in Belgrade on Wednesday on the initiative of the two countries, adding that the European Union could not have had a decisive role in arranging the meeting because "it's not possible that Brussels would order two countries to behave like good neighbours."

There are no special security measures in force because of the meeting.

The two prime ministers are expected to address the press at 1400 hours

Milanovic was also scheduled to meet with representatives of the Croatian minority.
