After last year's defeat in the finals of the ATP tournament Croatia Open in Umag, Juan Carlos Ferrero of Spain on Sunday won the tournament by beating Potito Starace of Italy 6:6 and 6:4.
This was Ferrero's second finals and first victory in Umag. Last year, he lost the final match to Russian Nikolay Davydenko.
Ferrero was presented with the winner's cup by Croatian President Ivo Josipovic.
