The president of the Croatian People's Party (HNS) parliamentary group and an observer in the European Parliament, Jozo Rados and a member of the presidency of the party's youth group Vedrana Gujic, will be HNS' candidates for MEPs, the party unanimously decided on Friday.
A press release notes that the HNS has decided to nominate their candidates on a joint slate with the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and the Croatian Pensioners' Party (HSU).
The press release says that HNS' candidates will certainly contribute to strengthening the liberal policy in the European Union.
The HNS Presidency said that it was important to participate in the poll for the European Parliament scheduled for April 14 and in that way utilise the opportunity that is being opened with Croatia's membership of the EU.
