The oil refinery in Sisak on Monday took all necessary measures to ensure that the fire-hit part of the refinery was safe for the environment, and after the ongoing police investigation the company will take all necessary steps to normalise the situation in the refinery, the INA oil and gas group reported on Tuesday.
After the police investigation, material damage, caused by yesterday's blaze will be appraised, INA said.
INA recalls that concentrations of environmental pollutants were within allowable limits during the accident and in its aftermath.
