The Croatian national currency kuna fell by 0.06 percent against the euro on Monday from Friday, resulting in the mean exchange rate of one euro for HRK 7.583380, the Croatian National Bank (HNB) reported on Monday.
This has been a record high mid-point exchange rate since the first half of January 2005.
The euro passed the 7.5 kuna mark in the second half of September 2011 after six years, and since mid-December it has been above that mark continuously.
Against the U.S. dollar, the kuna depreciated by 1.08 percent at 5.815030 kuna per dollar, and it also fell against the British pound by 0.38 percent to 9.150935 kuna per pound.
Against the Swiss franc, it gained 0.09 percent reaching a midpoint exchange rate of 6.283875 kuna per franc.
This exchange rate is applicable as of Tuesday.
