The arrival of Dinamo boss Vahid Halilhodzic earlier this season turned out to be a bit of bad news for Dinamo’s talented young striker Andrej Kramaric, who has made only a handful of appearances for the Croatian champions in this campaign

Kramaric, who was handed the legendary blue shirt with the number 9 just twenty months ago, collected thirty-four appearances last season. Under his new gaffer, however, the young attacker has claimed only sixteen appearances, his sole goal coming against Osijek in the Croatian cup.

Discontent is brewing and the transfer window opens in a matter of months.

It comes as no surprise that father and son Kramaric, according to the Vecernji List daily, requested a transfer from Dinamo’s de facto chief Zdravko Mamic on Monday. Dinamo, of course, turned down the request – no way they’re letting go of their prized gem, one of the best youth scorers in club history.

Still, the story of the discontented young striker is well-known in the football world and the senior Kramaric, Joza, claims that there are many interesting offers.

‘It’s true that we want Kramaric, with us he’d play a lot more than he does in Dinamo. I understand Halilhodzic’s logic, because you don’t get into the Champion’s League with players that young, while we really encourage young talents. In question is one of the best European strikers of his generation. We won’t try anything without Dinamo’s knowledge, of course. We have a great relationship and everything will be the way they decide,’ Maribor sports director and Slovenian football legend, Zlatko Zahovic told the Vecernji List daily.
