The Enterprise ministry will co-finance programmes of three enterprise zones in the northern Croatian county of Krapina-Zagorje with HRK 1.7 million - in the town of Zabok, the municipalities of Zlatar Bistrica and Sveti Kriz Zacretje.
Enterprise Minister Goran Maras signed contracts on co-financing with local self-government leaders in Sveti Kriz Zacretje on Tuesday.
Maras recalled that on paper, Croatia had some 400 enterprise zones but that only some 200 were active.
The ministry earmarked a total of HRK42 million for enterprise zones this year.
The three enterprise tones in the northern Croatian country employ some 2,000 people and another 1,000 jobs will be opened within a year.
