The president of the Association of Family and Small Hotels (OMH) in Croatia, Sime Klaric, on Monday presented a EUR 300,000 project of this association and its Italian partner, the Gorizia-based Infomest, aimed at strengthening cooperation between Croatia and Italy in developing tourist services and destinations.
With this project, financed by the Italian government, we want to strengthen cooperation and communication among small entrepreneurs in tourism, as well as among family hoteliers and the public administration in efforts to develop destination products and management, Klaric said at a news conference in the southern town of Trilj in the Split hinterland.
Seminars and workshops will be held for tourist trade workers and officials and a study tour to Italy will be organised within the project.
