Zagreb Airport was reopened for all air traffic at 4.05 pm, the State Protection and Rescue Administration said on Saturday.
The airport was closed since the morning because of a blizzard and its winter services have been cleaning the snow since 3.30 am.
Three elderly people have died because of the cold in the Osijek area.
Winter conditions have been declared on most roads in the country because of the heavy snowfall and traffic is difficult. Winter services are busy cleaning the roads, some of which are closed for all traffic.
Trains are operating but with delays ranging from 60 to 200 minutes and some lines have been cancelled.
Several ferry lines have also been cancelled.
In Zagreb, public transport is slow because of the heavy snow.
