The newly appointed commanders of 19 police divisions were introduced to the public by the national police director Vlado Dominic in Zagreb on Wednesday.
In late July internal vacancies were open for applicants for the positions of two deputy national police directors and three assistants of the national police director and for the positions of the commanders of all 20 police divisions. In the meantime the in-house vacancy announcement for Pozega-Slavonia was cancelled.
Only one woman is among those 19 commanders in the police districts and that is Senka Subat who will be at the helm of Primorje-Gorski Kotar County police division.
The Zagreb police will be headed by Goran Burusic, who was until now the deputy commander of the mobile traffic police squads.
