The 9th international conference "Challenges of Europe: "Growth and Competitiveness – Reversing the Trends" will be held in Bol on the southern Adriatic island of Brac on May 26-28, bringing together eminent international and domestic economic experts, organisers said on Wednesday.
This year's special guest will be Dani Rodrik, professor of international political economy at Harvard, who will give a talk on what makes an economic policy good, why some governments are more successful than others, and the possibilities of economic growth in the future.
The conference will be organised by the Split Faculty of Economics.
