The Environmental Protection Agency said on Thursday that Croatia had been awarded for the third time for the best air pollutant emissions report under the Convention on Long-range Transboundary Air Pollution (LRTAP).
The Agency received the award in Istanbul at the annual workshop and meeting of the Task Force on Emission Inventories and Projections.
Croatia previously won the award in Cyprus in 2010 and in Sweden in 2011.
Croatia is a signatory to the LRTAP and its eight protocols which envisage reducing pollutant emissions.
