Former Prime Minister and Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) leader Ivo Sanader appeared at the Zagreb County Court on Wednesday for the continuation of the trial in the Fimi Media case after the trial was adjourned yesterday due to Sanader's poor health.

On Tuesday, the prison informed the presiding judge in the trial, Ivana Calic, that Sanader was not well and that he was incapable of attending the main hearing scheduled for 18 December. Sanader has been behind the bars since he was handed a 10-year prison sentence for the INA-MOL case and the Hypo bank case.

At the start of today's hearing no further details about Sanader's health condition were given.
