The offices of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) in Mazuraniceva Obala Street in Karlovac have been burglarised and a police investigation is under way, a spokesperson for Karlovac police told reporters on Monday.
The police said they received information about the burglary at 0700 hrs today.
The windowpanes at the entrance door were smashed, papers were scattered and desk drawers were pulled out, an official of the Karlovac county HDZ branch said.
He could not say if anything had been stolen, adding that computers had remained in the offices.
