During an ongoing large-scale international operation against drug dealers, a total of 14 people were arrested in several Croatian cities and a large quantity of marihuana and weapons were confiscated on Friday, as a result of a several-month probe which was conducted in coordination with the police forces in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro and also Albania and Macedonia, or better known as the 'Balkan route'.
The entire operation was conducted with the financial assistance of the European Union IPA 2010 programme and the Southeast European Law Enforcement Centre (SELEC).
As many as 50 suspects were nabbed in all in the above mentioned countries during the operation.
