King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden on Wednesday visited the DOK-ING company in Zagreb and was briefed about the company's latest prototype of an electric car and saw the equipment for mine removal, fire-fighting and mining industry.
DOK-ING has been cooperating with Swedish companies for years. The company has sold mine-removal technology to the civil department of Sweden's Foreign Ministry, trained their machine operators, mechanics and electronic engineers.
DOK-ING owner Vjekoslav Majetic said Sweden had purchased nine mine-removal machines from DOK-ING which it uses in peace missions, adding that DOK-ING was machinery for other international markets in Sweden.
The Swedish king also had an opportunity to see the prototype of "Loox", a high-end electric automobile.
