Sweden's Andre Myhrer won the last men's slalom World Cup race of the season, held in Schladming on Sunday, thus securing the crystal globe in the discipline.

Germany's Felix Neureuther was second and Austria's Mario Matt came third.

Myhrer's number one rival for the slalom title Croatia's Ivica Kostelic made a mistake in the first run, failing to secure any points in today's race.

Kostelic is second in the slalom standings and fourth in the overall standings.

Kostelic, however, took the crystal globe in the super-combined discipline.

Marcel Hirscher of Austria secured the overall World Cup.
