President Ivo Josipovic and Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor said on Wednesday that their meeting on Tuesday was successful and that they agreed that the President and the Prime Minister had no right not to communicate and cooperate.

"We discussed mechanisms of our future cooperation and methods of consultation and harmonisation of views," Josipovic said after a meeting of the State Committee on Anniversaries.

"We openly discussed both minor and major problems that occurred in recent days and agreed on how we will be functioning," Kosor said. "We don't have to share views on everything, but we have to cooperate and we will," she added.

Kosor said that the committee discussed a programme of events to mark the anniversaries of Operation Flash and Croatian Parliament Day in May and all other anniversaries up to the 15th anniversary of Operation Storm in August.
