Serb People's Council (SNV) president Milorad Pupovac regretted on Friday that unlike previous years, President Ivo Josipovic did not attend today's reception for Orthodox Christmas organised by the SNV.
"We would have liked it if President Josipovic had been with us this year as in the past. He was always a welcome guest and would have been this year too," said Pupovac.
Asked about an ongoing public debate on whether bilingualism should be introduced in the eastern town of Vukovar, he said there had always been resistance to enforcing laws on national minorities' rights but, more importantly, there was no resistance among those responsible for enforcing them. He added that with everyone else it was necessary to talk.
