The police on Friday pressed charges against 15 ethnic Serbs, who hold Croatian citizenship, for war crimes they allegedly committed against civilians and prisoners of war in Trpinja, east Croatia, from 14 September to late November 1991, the Osijek County Prosecutor's Office reported on its web site on Friday.
After the questioning of nine of those 15 suspects, a request would be forwarded to the local court to set detention for the suspects.
