The European football governing body UEFA has fined the Croatian Football Federation (HNS) 80,000 euros for incidents caused by Croatian fans during the match with Italy, UEFA reported on Tuesday.
Croatia was fined because its fans threw flares into the field and displayed racist insignia. The HNS was also fined because Croatian supporters had shouted racist insults during the match with Italy.
Croatia received a 25,000 euro fine after the match with Ireland for incidents caused by Croatian fans.
