European Union ministers in charge of EU affairs are due to hold an informal meeting in Dublin on Monday to discuss the enlargement process, which Ireland hopes to push during its six-month rotating presidency of the Union, The Irish Times says.
One of the topics on the agenda will be Croatia, which the Irish Presidency hopes will join the EU on July 1 as scheduled. It said earlier that the dispute between EU member Slovenia and Croatia over the defunct Slovenian bank Ljubljanska Banka was a bilateral issue that should not hamper the accession process.
