The event "Croatie, la voici", organised by the association of French government stipend recipients, was opened in Zagreb on Thursday to reflect on the festival of Croatia's culture in France which marked new points in France-Croatia relations.
Today's event, organised as part of Francophonie Month, was supported by the University of Zagreb and the French Embassy in Croatia.
French Ambassador Michele Boccoz expressed her satisfaction with the fact that the festival helped establish not only professional, but also individual friendly ties between the two countries.
Croatia presented itself as the first Southeast European country as part of the French event Cultural Season. The festival was opened in Paris on 12 September 2012.
