Croatia has solved the issue of judicial cooperation with the European Union, Foreign and European Affairs Minister Vesna Pusic said in New York on Friday, commenting on the request by Guenther Krichbaum, the Bundestag's EU committee chair, to continue with political pressure on Croatia.
In an interview with Deutsche Welle today, Krichbaum said he believed the Croatian government was stalling in its dispute with the European Commission over the European Arrest Warrant law so that the extradition of suspects could eventually no longer be possible.
Pusic reiterated that there was no problem and that everything had been solved. "We need to understand that we live in a plural political society such as Europe and that different people say different things. But rules are rules, formal criteria are formal criteria and we have solved this problem."
