The Social Democratic Party (SDP)-led four-party opposition coalition, also referred to as "Kukuriku Coalition", on Wednesday evening held an election rally in the northern city of Varazdin, with Radimir Cacic of the Croatian People's Party (HNS), who tops the "Kukuriku" slate in Constituency No.3 saying that the Opposition would secure at least 30 parliamentary seats by its candidates from the cities of Varazdin, Zagreb and Rijeka.
The constituency No. 3 covers three northern Croatian counties: Varazdin, Medjimurje and Krapina-Zagorje.
Apart from Cacic, also the SDP president, Zoran Milanovic, and the leaders of the other two partners in the coalition, Ivan Jakovcic of the Istrian Democratic Party (IDS), and Silvano Hrelja of the Croatian Pensioners' Party (HSU) addressed the rally.
